Hello!!
A quick update from us at Horseshoe Camping. We are still here! Life is a bit slower since I’ve been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I’m currently going through chemotherapy which is due to finish mid April.

We can’t wait for then to start waking the campsite up ready for the summer holidays and get back to some sort of normality!!

Just a reminder that we will have a shorter season this year - mid July to early September. We’ve already had a number of bookings for the summer so if you’d like to stay, please make sure to book to avoid disappointment 🤩🤩 it will be wonderful to see you.

This year, we unfortunately won’t have the bell tent but we do have the tent and campervan pitches as normal!

The 2026 Season will look a bit different for us at Horseshoe Camping.

I have unfortunately been recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and am requiring a mastectomy next week followed by treatment afterwards which could take a while. We have made the decision to only open for the Summer holidays next year to take some pressure off of us as a family. This will be roughly mid July to the beginning of September 2026.

We're very lucky to already have bookings for next summer and of course don't wish to disappoint our lovely campers - many of which have become friends who we enjoy seeing year after year.

If you do wish to book, the website is (hopefully) updated now or you can get in touch - replies may be a bit slower than usual.

Great news! One of our favourite places for an evening stroll 🤩 the tunnels are now back open 👏👏👏

😀 Some great news to bring you this afternoon – the popular coastal footpath between Coppet Hall and Wiseman’s Bridge has re-opened – just in time for the lovely weather!

Thanks to everyone for their patience while the important safety work was carried out over the last few months following a series of landslides.

Thanks also to the Council teams and contractors who have worked tirelessly to open the pathway.

Looks like the weather is going to be beautiful this weekend! Why not head over to us for a weekend stay?!

What we offer:

✅ Undercover shelter with picnic table, countertop and recycling bins
✅ Composting loo on each pitch
✅ Fire pit and benches on each pitch
✅ Children’s play area
✅ Football pitch with goal posts
✅ Four individual spacious shower rooms with basin
✅ Minimal light pollution- perfect for star gazing
✅ Car free pitches (can drive to pitch to unpack/pack)
✅ 3 campervan pitches
✅ Hut with device charging area and designated fridge shelf
✅ Walking distance to a secluded beach
✅ Short drive to a large number of beautiful beaches
✅ 30 minute drive from Tenby
✅ Based on a horse riding centre with horses in neighbouring fields

Things to note- Due to horses so close by, we are a dog free site. No Electric Hook up on the pitches themselves.

Best news EVER!! The best place for food with children* as it has an indoor play area to entertain the kids! And it’s only 3 miles down the road 🤩 with amazing food too! What more do you need?!

*We’ve also been plenty of times without the kids as it’s such yummy food 😉😉

This is a big deal!!

After literally YEARS of enquiries and requests, we are excited to announce we are now back doing EVENINGS!

You will now be able to reserve tables, order evening meals, make group bookings etc. - All the good stuff!

We have developed 2 *NEW* menus [Lunch & Dinner] with some exciting changes and additions, whilst still keeping some of your Smugglers favourites.

Great news!!! We don't normally stay open into September but this year we are for all you lovely Hot Rod Fans!!

Although we won't have the bell tent available due to it being such a length of time to keep it standing. All other camping/campervan pitches will be available though 😁

The jewel in the VHRA crown is our Hot Rod Races held on the hallowed Pendine Sands. The fastest event of its kind by a country mile, it’s only here that you will see traditional hot rods running flat out competing for class records, and for the top accolade of King of the Beach. That said, we would welcome a Queen of the Beach, so what are you waiting for, ladies? Race and pit passes are spoken for, but you can spectate for free on the beach.
