Please listen to our lovely staff and follow their instructions when parking – it helps us keep everything running safely and smoothly. 😊

🌘✨ AND DON’T RUSH HOME… THERE’S SOMETHING PRETTY SPECIAL HAPPENING TONIGHT! ✨🌘

This evening we’ll be treated to a huge partial solar eclipse, with around 94% of the Sun covered here in West Wales! 🌘☀️

Once Beach Parking closes at 5pm, simply move your car and park up in one of our car parks, then stick around and make an evening of it. 🚗🌅

Lots of our wonderful local businesses have fantastic terraces and outdoor seating facing the right direction for the eclipse, so grab some food or a drink, support local and settle in for a pretty spectacular evening. 🍹🍴🌊

👀☀️ WATCH IT SAFELY!
Never look directly at the Sun without proper certified eclipse glasses – ordinary sunglasses are NOT safe.

No eclipse glasses? You can still join in! 🙌 A simple pinhole projector lets you safely project an image of the Sun, and even something as ordinary as a colander can project lots of tiny crescent Suns onto the ground during the eclipse! 🌙🌙🌙

⚠️ Remember: with pinhole projectors and colanders, keep your back to the Sun and look at the projected image – NOT through the holes at the Sun.

☀️ Beach by day… 🌘 eclipse by evening.
