Good morning campers just to inform you due to the current drought situation we are not allowing bbq's or campfires, cooking on gas is fine on a table off the ground but it is far too dry and dangerous to have naked flames. Very sorry.

It's not very often I blow my own trumpet but according to pitchup.com we are one of thier top 10 campsites in South West Wales and today have received this badge from them. I am very proud of my little site and really appreciate the kind and supportive feedback and reviews from our campers.

Just incase some of you have read via the Camping and Caravan Club that we are closing, this is not true!!!

We are open and will remain open all year round but we no longer deal with the camping and caravan club, we now get our license from Greener Camping.
Ethically Greener Camping fits in better with our site, they support smaller natural sites, encourage recycling and upcycling, and for every member we sign up, at the end of the year, they provide us with trees, hedgerows, wild flower seeds, bird and bat boxes. Plus the cost of joining Greener camping is only £12 per year, so a better deal for us and our customers.

More exciting news, we are in the final stages of building our new toilet and shower block, in our typical quirky style, which will also have a disabled wetroom, showers, toilets, washbasins etc etc. Pictures will be posted as soon as its ready. So please feel free to message or email me directly if you wish to book a pitch.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all of my birthday wishes, I am totally overwhelmed by your lovely messages and the added bonus was that it didn't rain!!! Sad isn't it that a day without rain means so much, spring is on its way, fingers crossed for some better weather. 😊
