A quick update for anyone thinking about a summer stay in Arnside .

Over the past week, we’ve taken several bookings and May and September are now fully booked, with most of spring already gone.

That leaves just four weeks remaining between now and mid October:

• 26th June
• 10th July
• 24th July
• 31st July

What often surprises guests is that summer in Arnside remains remarkably calm. While other parts of the Lake District become busy, Arnside tends to keep its quieter, more relaxed feel — particularly in the evenings, when the estuary is at its best.

If you’ve been considering a visit this year, these remaining weeks are likely to be the next to go.

One small thing we’re thinking about upgrading at The View.

At the moment, we provide a proper filter coffee machine (which many guests love)… but we’re wondering whether to also add a capsule coffee machine for convenience.

Quick, easy, no fuss — especially for a relaxing morning watching the tide come in.

👉 So, what would YOU prefer on a short break?

A) Stick with filter coffee
B) Add a capsule machine as well
C) Capsule all the way — keep it simple
