A lovely stay for all. The property was well equipped and maintained. There was a lovley balcony to sit on and enjoy the views. Everything was very clean. We ate at the onsite bistro and the food was lovely. We would definitely stay again.

This was our second visit to REACH Retreat and possibly even better than our first.

We stayed during the heatwave of June and were able to enjoy sitting outside on the deck this time.

However, the main reason the stay was so good is simply that the lodge is clean, comfy, modern, well equipped and truly accessible for those with mobility needs.

Accommodation was of a high standard/luxury with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The amenities again, of a high standard with extremely supportive and welcoming staff. Food in the restaurant on-site was good quality and reasonably prices. Overall a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Come and stay with us for a front row seat at the Tour de France Grand Départ 2027 - it will be passing right by REACH Retreat next July!

Sophie, Rob, Amelia and Roman had a great stay at the lodge:
- lovely days out in Morecambe
- Lakeland Oasis
- Lakeside Aquarium (which we travelled to by boat on Lake Windermere)
- Greenlands Farm

We also enjoyed visiting the ducks every morning and the kids loved sitting on the decking blowing bubbles.

We used the swimming facilities where the staff couldn't have been nicer, supporting my daughter's first time swimming and she didn't stop smiling the whole time.

The facilities in the lodge are amazing and we had everything we needed. We have truly had the best time and are already planning our next stay.

Do you get frustrated at the thought of all the Lake District views you're missing because of you can't get to them?

Miles Without Stiles is for pushchairs, wheelchairs, mobility scooters and anyone with mobility issues - even your big or older dogs who can't use stiles.

There are 50 routes by lakes, rivers, tarns and historical remains that have been graded on:
- gradient
- type of surface
- the sort of equipment you'll need

The grades are:
- for all
- for many
- for some
- challenging
