Today was my last set of guests for the year , what a busy year it’s been 🌸

Thank you to each and every one of my guests old and new.

After a very bleak 2020 with not much earnings , 2021 has more than made up for it and has been such a good year for bookings and I hope it continues into the New Year.

I must mention now though that going forward with all new bookings for 2022 I can’t stress enough that you take out Travel Insurance, I can no longer lose out on my income due to people testing positive for Covid.

Covid is now a known disease and can be insured against. It is your responsibility to insure against this.

I had a few bookings cancelled this year at short notice and was unable to relet which meant loss of earnings for myself. I can no longer be my customers insurance policy.

Please look into travel insurance, there are several companies offering cover, I know the post office offer cover for between £15-25 for a single trip with an excess of £50.

If we go into a national or local lockdown then of course I will refund your stay as this can’t be helped but if you or a family member test positive then you must claim through your travel insurance, unless I can relet your dates. I always try my best to make it fair.

Remember when booking somewhere online, more often than not you’re booking through a third party. Think along the lines of the big OTAs such as booking.con and Air B. They add on huge service fees to owners own prices.

I’ve had three bookings over the last few days through Air B and B who have then searched for me directly on here and saved themselves a considerable amount of money. One of them saved £200 by booking direct with me for a weeks stay.

Just look at these Teeny Tiny babies swimming shoes! 😍😍

Just found them wedged down the back of a radiator at the lodge.

They’re a size 22/23 babies.
