🍂 OCTOBER IN CARTMEL & THE SOUTH LAKES 🍂
October has arrived, and the Lakes are looking pretty special at this time of year. 🍁
If you're thinking about escaping to Cartmel this month, there’s plenty happening across the village, the South Lakes and the wider area.
Here are a few ideas for your October diary:
🏃 10 October – Lakes in a Day
A spectacular trail-running event finishing here in Cartmel, with the 50-mile Ultra and 23km Half taking runners across the Lake District.
🍽️ 8 & 11 October – Food at Holker
Supper & Stories and Holker Hosts the Roast are both taking place during the month.
🎃 30–31 October – Halloween at Holker
Halloween returns to Holker for a spooky end to the month
🎃 29 October–1 November – Ghostly House Tours at Levens Hall
A candle-lit Halloween experience for those who like their autumn evenings a little more mysterious.
And that's only a small selection!
Of course, you don't need to fill every day with activities. A wander around Cartmel, a countryside walk, something delicious to eat and an evening relaxing at North Lodge sounds like a pretty good October plan to us. ❤️
