Please see this post with regards to making bookings at the Priory Hotel
several people are turning up at the hotel when we are full and have no availability claiming they have booked a room through a site called algotels which they have been directed to through Trivago.
This site is claiming we have availability and taking reservations, taking payment in full yet we have no information on the bookings.
Please be aware and always check trustpilot for scam sites.
This company have a 1.7 star rating on trustpilot which most reviews claim they have been scammed.
A quick google of if Algotels is legit brings up the following information.

We apologise for this and are escalating the issue with Trivago and Algotels.
If it seems to good to be true..... then it probably is.
