The George is a 15th century coaching hotel based in the picturesque town of Castle Cary. The historic market town of Castle Cary still remains a local, and national attraction. The hotel is owned and managed by Daniel Patrick along with family and staff. Our aim is to provide our guests with a warm and friendly welcome and an enjoyable stay whether its for business or pleasure. The hotel has 15 en-suite bedrooms, two main bar areas and Knights Restaurant.

❤️ TONIGHT — WE SAY FAREWELL TO THE GEORGE ❤️

Today is a very special, and emotional, day as The George Hotel closes its doors for the final time.

For so many people, The George has been far more than just a hotel or a place to have a drink. It has been a place where memories were made, friendships began, celebrations were shared, laughter filled the rooms, and countless stories were created.

Tonight, we want to celebrate all of those memories and, most importantly, the wonderful people who have made The George what it is. ❤️

And while saying goodbye is never easy, we want to do it the best way we know how — together, with music, laughter, dancing and one final unforgettable night.
