The reality of owning your own business isn’t all fairy dust and rainbows like those who haven’t had one, make it out to be. Ever had people say “oh you own your own business, you must be raking it in” or words to those effect?. Well no 😂 …..this example pretty much sums it up:
My child: Mum, why are you working on your birthday? Why don’t you have it off?
Me: Well darling, if i don’t go to work, i don’t get paid 🤷♀️
This is a genuine interaction last year but it is totally 100% true! We don’t get paid holidays, we work all hours, whether it’s physical, paperwork, ideas for future projects, research, new recipes, new flavours, always trying to find something to be completely different. Because every business owner wants their business to be their own and for that to shine through what they sell and offer so that you lovely customers come back time & time again 😃
Soo…….here comes the point 🥁 🤣 tag/link your fave small business or even your own small business to keep us all going strong and also so others can follow you 😃 all bakers and cake makers too! because contrary to public belief, i do not have any competition with anyone, just more cake and small business friends to be☺️
