Wonderful to see two playful deer bouncing around the field in front of The Shepherd's Rest this morning.
Book a stay with us and you could wake up to this view!

We had a very rare night off last weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary in one of our favourite places - The Powfoot Hotel
We got married there five years ago and decided to treat ourselves to a night away. The food at Powfoot is always exquisite and the overall experience is made even more special by the attentive staff led by Lisa alongside her head chef husband Martin. The whole team make you feel so welcome from the moment you walk through the door and are always looking for ways to make your experience unforgettable.
Powfoot will always get five stars from us.
