Meet Bart 🐾
Many of you will already know our lovely Bart, the resident cat here at Douglas House B&B.
Our handsome grey and white gentleman has long been part of the Douglas House family. Whether he’s stretched out in a sunny spot, quietly supervising the day’s activities, or politely accepting a well-earned head scratch, Bart takes his role as Chief Comfort Officer very seriously.
Calm, friendly, and always happy to see a familiar face, he’s a much-loved character among our guests.
We completely understand that not everyone is a cat lover — so please be assured that Bart is always kept out of the way if any guest has allergies or is phobic. Just let us know when booking or on arrival and we’ll make sure you’re perfectly comfortable.
If you’re staying with us soon, be sure to say hello — he’ll most likely be nearby, keeping an eye on things as always. 🐾🤍
