Wheldale Hotel is entering a new chapter in its long 150plus year history !
Donna and Paul are retiring to Thailand and in November a new Management will take responsibility of securing the future of the Wheldale !
We have enjoyed 18 years of ownership of this wonderful bar / hotel, spending over half a million in that time to make sure this place is fit for a few more years, in our time here we have seen many pubs close, including the Bath and Garden House both on the Lane. Both were in better condition when we took on the Wheldale. So great b**r great food and great accommodation will be on offer plus a great new match day experience!
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. Without you this place would have long gone !

We are upgrading our menu to give you what you want. Your feedback is very much appreciated, come give us a try and give us your thoughts. Open Wednesday to Sunday every week.
We believe our products we use are the best, without compromise on price.
We believe our cooking facilities, and methods give you a cleaner, better presented breakfast without it being full of grease !
We only fry our free range eggs, all our other products, bacon, sausages, hash browns, black pudding or spam are all baked in our state of art Rational ovens. We cook our mushrooms in butter. Open daily until 11.30am.
