Our Birch Cabin is the perfect little escape for the end of summer — a cosy ensuite cabin tucked away in the Mournes, with everything you need for a few nights away.

Imagine settling into a warm soak as the sun goes down, listening to the quiet of the countryside… then looking up and watching the stars come out above you. 🌙
Inside you’ll find a comfy double bed, bunks, a little sofa bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchen essentials and all the cosy touches you need. Outside, there’s a firepit and BBQ for those long summer evenings.

Little Adventures 🌿⛺

There’s something so special about watching children arrive at Escape … and seeing their little faces light up when they discover their very own tent. 🥰

For kids, camping isn’t just a night away. It’s an adventure. 🌲✨
It’s running through the grass, exploring, sitting around a fire, spotting wildlife, playing games and making memories that they’ll talk about long after the tent has come down.

And perhaps most importantly, it’s time away from screens and time spent outdoors — using their imagination, being curious, getting fresh air and simply enjoying being kids. 💚

They might not remember every toy they had or every programme they watched this summer…
But they will remember the excitement of opening that tent door for the first time. ⛺🥰

🌈 A little bit of colour before the summer comes to an end… 🌈
If you’ve stayed with us at Escape Glamping, you might recognise these beds! 💕 These colourful covers have been a firm favourite since we first opened in 2019 — and we’ve replaced them more times than we can remember because guests love them so much! 🥰
There’s something about climbing into a cosy glamping bed after a day exploring the Mournes, Castlewellan Forest Park and the beautiful surrounding area. 🌲🥾
But… our tent season is coming to an end soon! ⛺️
So if you’ve been thinking about a little late-summer escape, now is the time. ❤️ We still have some availability over the next few weeks before the tents are packed away and we move to cabin-only stays for the winter.
