🥳 We’re OPEN for Bookings 🥳

If you follow our page you’ll know we’ve been closed temporarily for a few months as we had a member of the family staying.

We’re now back open and taking bookings from 25th April 2026!

If you’re looking for a peaceful location, dog friendly with a fully enclosed garden. Surrounded by open countryside with plenty of
walks and close to the historic village of Cawood then we might just be the place for you.

Just a short hop to York, close to Leeds, Harrogate and a hour away from the stunning Yorkshire coast. 🙌🏻

HAPPY NEW YEAR 🥳 to all of our previous and future guests!

We hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas and 2026 will be a great year for you!! 🙌🏻

If you’re wondering why we’ve been a bit quiet of late and why there is currently no availability for bookings it’s because we have a family member staying.

This is only temporary and we hope to be open again for bookings later in the spring/early summer.

Feel free to contact us if you would like to book later in the year and we can give you more accurate info on availability.

A change is as good as a rest they say! 😁😁

You will always get the best deal by booking direct with our agent rather than through booking.com, air bnb or other similar third party sites.

It’s always worth contacting us as well, because with this agent we have a bit more flexibility to take bookings direct! 👌🏻😁

We love the open views across open countryside from this dog-friendly cottage. It is ideally placed to enjoy the towns of Selby and York whilst also having access to the countryside.

It’s a bit late for a summer bookings now but

So why not catch the last of the summer before autumn 🍂 gets a hold?

Availability is good from 19th October 24 onwards so why not have an autumn/winter break here in North Yorkshire?

Close to York, the Wolds, Leeds, Harrogate and not too far if you fancy a trip to the coast or into the Moors or Dales.

A lovely log burner for cosy evenings in and we’re dog friendly. 🐶

We also have an enclosed dog exercise field Claude’s Meadow on site and guests can take advantage of 20% off the usual booking fee.

It’s been a while since we posted so we thought we’d share some feedback from our awesome guests in the comments book this year. 😁

There are only a few summer dates left so be quick if you’re looking for a get away. 🙌🏻

Alternatively, winter months are lovely and cozy with the log burner going. 🔥 ✅

3 village pubs (all dog friendly), lots of dog walks, close to York, Leeds, Harrogate and the coast. ✅

Dog friendly with an enclosed garden 🐶 ✅

We also have Claude’s Meadow which is an enclosed dog field for exercising your dog off lead. Guests receive a 20% discount with 10% of all bookings donated to the Pointer Rescue Service.

If you’re bringing your dog with you and need an enclosed exercise area we have a 1 acre paddock that is bookable via Claude’s Meadow.

It’s £6 for 45 minutes but guests of Little Acres Cottage can take advantage of a 20% discount.
