Mill End is a luxury country hotel, just outside the delightful Dartmoor village of Chagford. We are the perfect base for exploring Dartmoor, with great walks from the hotel, and within easy reach of everything that Dartmoor National Park has to offer. Morning coffee, delicious light lunches (in the garden when the sun shines), traditional Devon Cream Teas, and fine dining in our restaurant in the evening.

It's strange to think than in as little as 12 weeks we could have scenes like this outside the hotel again!

Have you stayed when it has snowed before? Dartmoor becomes even more Dartmoor!

Truth be told... we secretly can't wait to start our roasts again, light our lounge fire and get all cosy with our hot chocolates after beautiful crisp walks along the river. Who else?

💆 It's not surprising she was very confused 🤷

We had the most relaxing evening at a very unique soundbath yesterday. I genuinely didn't understand how relaxing it could be whilst floating on an airbed - but how wrong I was! ✨ Can safely recommend it.

Escaping the summer crowds at .gorge.nt 💧🧘‍♀️

This deep river gorge is nestled in peaceful Dartmoor, far from the crowded beaches. The walk is surrounded by rare temperate rainforest, meaning it also (remarkably) still feels beautifully damp at the moment! Hands up if you love moss?! 👋

Make sure you don't miss out on this beautiful 30m waterfall on your next trip to Dartmoor.. And do share if you have also visited the opposite end of the gorge- The Devil's Cauldron?

Anya has really progressed in the short period of time she has been with us working alongside Head Chef Martin, we really love her enthusiasm to learn and her can-do attitude.
