Cherry Tree Cottage Bed & Breakfast A stone cottage, in a beautiful, picturesque valley in The Peak District. We offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation for walkers, cyclists and rock climbers

We have a double room with private bathroom available from £65 per night. An additional room (large single) is available if required - please ask about this room when you call - but not available separately. We offer breakfast to your requirements and a packed lunch if ordered in advance. We can give you a lift to one of a number of local inns and restaurants for your evening meal - and pick you u

p again. We have public footpaths passing the door that lead over South Head, Mount Famine and Rushop Edge towards the Kinder Plateau and Edale. The local lanes are very popular with cyclists. Get advice on local crags both Grit and Limestone from someone who has climbed in the area for many years and will share some of his experience of the Peak District's secrets - both bolted and trad.

Today is one of those perfect winter days. Crisp snow, bright sunshine, blue sky and not a breath of wind. My first visit to Southhead summit in 2024. Glorious views all around.

We gave our latest guest, who arrived on public transport, a lift to her rdv with Adventure Hub https://g.co/kgs/ibbP42 , for a day of rock climbing and caving. It's a great way for us to support sustainable tourism in the Peak District National Park.
