Some customers are reporting having received emails from xCover regarding refund protection that they have not taken out with their bookings.

We can confirm this is not a security incident or hack. The issue relates to delayed and incorrectly triggered emails being sent following a technical update due to a bug between integrated systems.

There have been no financial transactions involved, and no sensitive personal data (such as payment details, addresses or phone numbers) have been exposed.

The matter is contained within the dual systems of our booking system (Anytime Bookings) and a trusted integration partner (xCover) and we are working with them to ensure all data and communications are corrected and aligned as expected.

We understand the concern this has caused and are sorry for the confusion.
