Hi all - been a while since we have posted. Been a busy period with lots happening in Charlestown

The Pierhouse has now reopened and next door the harbour side has opened as a craft beer house with a pizza oven.

With the odd gap between bookings we have been fully booked and October is almost full too

Still some spaces in September and we have just had a cancellation for August- this being our only availability remaining for Aug

Arrive 18th and check out on 23rd. 5 days🏖️

Maintenance completed early 😊

So we had blanked out 4 weeks on the Airbnb diary for scheduled maintenance and upgrades

Good news is they are zapping through it and are scheduled to complete in less than half the allocated time - well done tradespeople 😊🛠️ and thanks 🙏

So the diary is open again for March

Some high spring tides this week in Cornwall 😊✅

Fortunately no swell and winds to aggregate the water

I must admit whilst this is hard for businesses but of course they have seen it before Cornwall at this time of year is equally beautiful 😍

I priced a group last week. 8 people in March. Works out at £28 per person per night!! Cheaper to go away than stay at home!! And that includes council tax, heating and cleaning 🧹

Anyway the sun was shining somewhere today - 2 more bookings taken for summer 24

Summer 24 - may not seem it currently but pre summer vibes will be around the corner soon!! 😉☀️

We are unseasonably busy and last week we took bookings for Xmas 24 and New Year 24/25. A good example of peak dates getting booked early. If you have any dates in mind please speak to us as soon as possible.

Last year saw our best year for referrals and for returning customers so thank you for your continued loyalty

I attach late availability for Feb for ease of reference. A great time of year for walking and getting some fresh Cornish sea air and then cosying up to the log fire 🔥

Part of any successful business is to stay relevant and modern

We are closed for next 10 days to replace the top floor en-suite. All equipment will be replaced with new but in a style so it retains that cottage culture which so many of our guests love and comment upon

The trend this year was slow to start with bookings coming much later than previous. Grab these 3 and 4 day peak breaks while still available.
