It’s September! Our final month of 2026 ☹️
But, September has amazing sunsets, beautiful woodland walks and Cheddar Village & The Gorge are quieter so it’s a great time to visit.
So if you haven’t had your little slice of Owley magic ✨ this year or if you need another break before winter we have plenty of mid week and some weekend availability:

The (welcome) rain didn’t stop the fun this weekend for these lovely ladies and their gorgeous dogs 🐕
Starting with a Cheddar Spirit tasting, then trips to Cheddar for lunch, walks on the beach at Brean & around the reservoir and lots of games 🥾🐶🍹
Our last whole site booking this year but next years calendar is now open so if you are planning a get together with friends or family in 2027 you can reserve your dates now 😀

Our local Strawberry Line has won Britains Favourite Path 🥳 so if you prefer less challenging walks this is a lovely alternative to the Gorge.
Named after the old railway line that got its nickname because it used to carry locally grown strawberries from the fields of Cheddar to big cities like London and Birmingham it is a beautiful walk to explore the local area 🥾🐕

Does anyone else think that autumn has come early this year?
The woods already have a carpet of crispy leaves, the hedges are full of fruit (even grapes from the old vines at Owley) and the heron has arrived early to fish in the pond! 🍁🍇🐟
