Cheddar Gorge is not only an incredibly beautiful place, but it's also a Site of Special Scientific Interest, providing a home to many rare animal species and amazing plants. We're proud to help preserve them for future generations, and we're calling on you to join us 🫵

Here are two easy ways you can help:

🔥 Please do not use disposable BBQs or light naked flames around the gorge as these can cause damage to the beautiful landscape and rich ecosystem.

🗑️ We kindly ask that you keep hold of your litter until you can safely dispose of it in one of the public bins near our attractions and around the village.
