The Bath Arms is located in the heart of Cheddar and just a short walk away from the world famous Cheddar Gorge and caves. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offer exceptional accommodation in the form of 6 beautiful ensuite bedrooms. We are constantly maintaining our awarded 2AA rosettes for our restaurant and 4 gold star inn for our hotel in 2017. We work hard to provide our customers wit

h the highest level of customer service and a quality experience for all guests across all aspects of the hotel. Head chef Mark Horton and his team work hard to produce a quality favourites menu with hearty pub classics. Our menu uses seasonal produce wherever possible and the highest quality ingredients, with full traceability, some of which are now growing in our chef's on site garden.

Our pan-fried seabass is served with pea & mint purée, thyme new potatoes, asparagus, and a lemon & caper beurre blanc for the perfect fresh and seasonal lunch or dinner.

Our kitchen opening hours are:
Monday to Thursday: 12pm-3pm & 5.30pm-8.30pm
Friday & Saturday: 12pm-3pm & 5pm-9pm
Sunday: 12pm-7pm

Our braised beef loaded fries are piled high with mixed cheese, crispy onions and slow-cooked beef for the perfect savoury bite. We also offer a vegetarian version with grilled halloumi.

As SGF continues to grow, we are strengthening our senior operational team across Somerset.
We are looking for strong people who care about standards, enjoy variety, and want to be part of something that is building for the future.
These are flexible senior operational roles, working across our venues to support leadership teams, strengthen rotas, protect standards, and help us continue delivering Seriously Good Food at a Fair Price since 2014.
This is not a “same four walls every day” role.
You will work across a variety of businesses including:
• Premium pubs with rooms
• A café & bakery operation
• Jai Dee Asian Street Food units
• New growth projects across the SGF Group
You will also play a role in the ongoing development of our people through the SGF Academy, supporting training, standards and future leadership development.

A new dining experience is launching in Cheddar this weekend.

We’re excited to be part of the SGF Village launching this Saturday, bringing the three kitchens of The Bath Arms, The Village Cafe & Bakery and Jai Dee Asian Street Food into joint dining spaces just a short walk from the Gorge.

Choose what food you would like from any of the three kitchens, place your order at your venue and sit anywhere in the shared spaces to enjoy it - the sunny terrace of The Bath Arms or the covered outdoor area of the Village Cafe.

That means you can join us for a proper pub meal, enjoy a drink at the bar, and explore even more great food options all in one space. Whether it’s lunch, dinner or a catch-up with friends, it’s all here.
