Based at Moulsham Mill, the Millrace Foundation provides therapeutic furniture restoration, upcycling, and vocational training opportunities for people recovering from mental and physical health challenges. During the open day, visitors will have the chance to explore the workshop, meet the team, learn about the charity’s work, and see firsthand how restored furniture and hands-on projects are making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Whether you are interested in mental health support, volunteering, furniture restoration, community projects, or simply want to support a fantastic local charity, we would love to welcome you.

🫶 A message from Maddie 🫶
To my clients,
I’ve got some big exciting news however it’s quite emotional at the same time, my last working day in the salon will be the 29th September 2026,

As many of you will know my circumstances, I am going off to South Africa to support my partner.

I hope to see all of you before I go to say goodbye, if you can’t get booked in prior to me leaving, and are wondering who to see next please contact me at the salon and I will be happy to recommend the best suited therapist for you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join our team in the Bee Shed Coffee House at Lathcoats Farm, Galleywood. The ideal candidate will have passion for baking, be confident working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in producing high-quality food and cakes.

We pride ourselves by using as many local suppliers as possible. Our cakes and scones are all homemade and baked daily. Our menu includes full English breakfasts, paninis, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, homemade sausage rolls, soups and quiches.

This is a full-time position, working 37.5hours a week. Hours are 7.30am-3.00pm, worked over five days, including three Saturdays per month. We are closed Sundays and bank holidays.
