💚 World Mental Health Day

Everyone’s experience is different, and sometimes simply having someone who will listen without judgement can make all the difference.

We’re proud to have four Mental Health First Aiders in our team, here to listen, support and simply be there when someone needs someone to talk to, including John (General Manager), Cody (Hotel Operations Manager), Emma (Hotel Office Manager) and Andra (Sales & Marketing Manager).

Because every voice matters, and sometimes being heard is the first step. 💚

LONG SERVICE AWARD

Congratulations to Laurence on her first two years at the hotel!

Laurence originally joined the hotel as a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant and later moved into her role as Front of House Assistant, where she works across both Reception and Food & Beverage, with Reception being her parent department.

Over the past two years, Laurence has continued to grow in confidence and experience, becoming a reliable member of the team. She brings a positive attitude to shifts and is always willing to get involved and support her colleagues wherever needed, bringing great levels of energy.

Laurence is also very friendly and welcoming with our guests, always taking the time to make them feel comfortable and well looked after. Her warm personality and approachable nature are a real asset, particularly in a guest facing role.

Her flexibility across both Reception and Food & Beverage is a great strength and she continues to make a positive contribution across the hotel.

Amal received the highest number of votes in recognition of his friendly and positive attitude, bringing great energy to the team every day.

He always takes great pride in delivering a high-quality breakfast for our guests, ensuring that everything is cooked and presented to a consistently high standard.

His hard work, positive attitude and commitment certainly deserves to be recognised.
