Cleeve Hill Hotel is taking part in a local Auction!!

TURF Cheltenham has been running Auction for the past couple of weeks to support all the local independent hospitality businesses that are based in the centre of Cheltenham.

It's been wonderful to see all the support, and as an independent owner myself and a member of TURF I was more than happy to be asked to be part of a SUPER lot for the auction!

What's in the Lot?
"Arrive at Cleeve Hill Hotel on a Saturday of your choice, in time to collect a picnic for two. You can then leisurely stroll over Cleeve Common, having a lazy picnic and enjoying the views. Once checked in at the Hotel, you can enjoy an interactive cocktail experience courtesy of Liana Cocktail Co and Tivoli Wines. Complete your evening with dinner at 288 Bar & Wok, hosted by Pak Wai and his fabulous team.

On Sunday morning wake to coffee and pastries, followed by breakfast at the wonderfully relaunched Cafe Boho – waffles and pancakes are yours to devour. After following a guided walk around Cheltenham, finish off the weekend with Sunday Lunch at The Royal."

Exciting News!!!

Cleeve Hill Hotel is taking part in a local Auction!!

Posted • It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.

A glorious day for walking! Chilly enough to need a coat and a hat (well I do!) but sunny enough to need sunglasses! 😎😎

I do like walking on the cooler sunnier days, it feels easier than when it’s warm… like last Wednesday! Today was all about pottering along part of the . 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️

The Hotel is situated right on the , so easy to reach and with a big comfy sofa in the boot room so you can collapse and get your boots off!! 🥾🥾

What a glorious sunset for a Monday! It’s so beautiful here, and I’m blessed to be able to enjoy it. However, it’s nearly time to be able to share it with guests again, and I can’t wait for that!

This is the view from Room 1, the first room I refurbished and the only room where you can see this exact view from the bed! Imagine waking up with a cuppa in hand and the glorious sunshine to look at. It really is 😍

Last week I was really privileged to be asked to take part in one of Business Recover Webinars.

There is so much going on to help all in to weather the storm Covid-19 is currently causing us to be in. Last week we got to talk about how to be more visible to the potential audience out there who’s looking to book or use our services. Mike James from was also on the webinar.

I’m massively enthusiastic about ensuring guests book directly with hospitality businesses, enabling us to not lose fairly substantial %’s to large multinational companies on too many occasions. As I said in the webinar, I’m more than happy to help other businesses get an understanding on how technology can help with this and systems connected to make it really easy for guests to book, and hospitality businesses manage the reservations easily.

This I’m reminiscing about how I was helping to create Valentine weekends away in 2020, with rose petals, bubbles and lots of yummy homemade cookies to eat on arrival!

It was a very different scene to the year before (2019)… which had involved ripping out the previous ancient kitchen over Christmas and creating my wonderful new kitchen ready for spring.

I love creating yummy treats for guests to enjoy on arrival and a key element to the area I was painting in the picture are the extra deep worktops…. great for rolling out things to be baked!
