The Porch House

The Porch House Built 947AD and England's oldest Inn. Public House. Dining. Luxury rooms. Twitter - We’re sure our Inn could tell a tale or two if it could talk.

The Porch House has been a millennia in the making and it was worth every minute. Every nook and cranny of our extraordinary Porch House exuberates centuries-old character within its rustic stone walls. Embellished with twisting crooked staircases, roaring open fires, and low slung ceilings that are beamed with ancient timber. Unfortunately, it can’t but we think our show-stopping dwelling with it

s dazzling decor, flavoursome fare, and abundance of tantalising tipples truly does speak for itself.

A Cotswold getaway is better when everyone gets to come along. 🐶🌿

Our dog-friendly rooms are designed to be as beautiful as they are practical, so muddy paws, countryside walks and cosy evenings are all part of the plan.

Out the door and into the Cotswolds. 🌿

Wander the winding streets of Stow, browse the independent shops, find a country walk, stop for a pint, then come back to us when your feet need a little rest.

Some dishes are more than just something on the menu.

For Jordan, this one holds a rather special place in his heart. It was the dish that helped him land his very first Head Chef job after winning a cook-off, so naturally, it has a little sentimental value.

Years later, and it’s still one of his favourite dishes ever. A pretty special plate, made by the chef who started it all. 👨‍🍳✨

Waking up to views like this makes getting out of bed feel like a bit of a shame.

Cotswold countryside, sleepy mornings and a little slice of Stow waiting just beyond the window. The perfect excuse to stay tucked up for five more minutes… or maybe fifty. 🌿✨

We love a spritz. Especially when the sun is shining, the garden is calling and there’s nowhere else you need to be.

Bubbly, refreshing and made for long afternoons that turn into evenings without you quite noticing.

One for you? We thought so. 🥂

Jordan in his element, building one of his favourite plates from the ground up.

Lamb rump, carefully cooked, beautifully plated and finished with all the little details that turn a dish into something rather special.
