One of the great attractions to The Cotswolds is Giffords Circus. They moved around to different locations during the season and offer lots of performances. Kids love it - but so do adults. A charming mix of slap-stick, gentle comedy, live music, and traditional circus skills. Well worth searching for a location, date and time if you are interested. And of course please pick a date that you can stay with us, in our Apartment...

Due to the unexpected cancellation of a long-standing booking we now have our Apartment available again for the Gold Cup Festival.

Min 4 nights, £220 per night, for 1 or 2 people, in a king-size double en-suite bedroom, sitting/ dining room, kitchen, private parking space, access to EV charging point.

A second en-suite bedroom available if required (at extra cost); shorter stays of 2 or 3 nights available ( at extra cost).

Bookings via AirBnB or Booking. com possible, but be aware that their commission charges add around 15% to the price quoted above.

Super-Fast Internet has arrived at Homelands! As a semi-rural business we have been hoping for years that Fibre Optic cables would reach our Lane, but no.... the nearest access point is 400 Yards away, but that could as well have been 4,000 Miles. So the StarLink disk has been fitted, the connections made, and the settings adjusted. Expect a speed of around 100-120 Mbps - more than enough to Game, Play, Work and Update your Social Media on multiple devices without delays, buffering or outages.

Yesterday we visited a place in Gloucestershire we had never heard of before. It is approx. 45 min by car from Homelands, and well worth a visit! It's called "Purtons Ship Graveyard". Nice to do and see something that is not 'on the tourist trail'. Some 80 ships have been beached here to strengthen the riverbank and prevent flooding during storms and Spring tides.
