This monument outside the Bears Paw pub on Frodsham's Main Street, marks the official start of Cheshire's Sandstone Trail.

34 miles/55 km later, it arrives at its southern terminus in the Jubilee Park in Whitchurch, just over the county border in Shropshire. It's one of Britain's classic walks.
