We’re taking a closer look at how people book accommodation with us directly through the Chester Apartments website.

One of the things we’re trying to understand better is what happens between somebody looking at an accommodation website and actually completing their booking.

If you’ve booked self-catering accommodation recently, we’d be really interested to know:

• What makes you leave a website without booking?
• What information do you normally need before you feel ready to book?
• Is there anything that makes booking direct more difficult than using somewhere like B.com or Airbnb?

We’re looking at our own booking journey and how we can make it easier for guests, so any genuine experiences would be really useful.
