We serve a delicious menu of home-cooked, traditional pub food Monday - Saturday til 9pm and our Sunday lunch menu til 8pm. We also have a huge selections of wines; bottled and draught beers; JW Lees cask ales; ciders; popular spirits and your favourite soft drinks. There's something to suit everyone's tastes, so why not have a relaxing drink by the river? Or dine al fresco on our outdoor terrace and floating beer garden, and make the most of the good weather!

Say hello to Buddy & Milo! 🐶🐶 These two 16 month old Shorkies are full of personality and clearly know how to have a good time!

❤️ Likes: Going for walks & playing with their favourite toys
👎 Dislikes: Apparently… nothing! They’re just happy little pups! 😂
🍗Favourite treat: Chicken, obviously!
🎓 Best trick: Rolling over for tummy rubs… and mastering the art of sleeping! 😴🐾

The Boathouse is the perfect place to start your next adventure! Whether you fancy a gentle stroll, a proper countryside hike or a day out exploring further afield, there’s something for everyone. 👣

🌳 Grosvenor Park — a lovely easy-going stroll right on our doorstep.
🌿 The Meadows — perfect for a wander, fresh air and a little escape from the everyday.
🌲 Delamere Forest — around 30 minutes by car, with miles of woodland trails to explore.
🏔️ Snowdonia / Eryri — fancy making a full day of it? Around 1 hour 30 minutes by car, and absolutely worth the journey for those incredible mountain views.

And of course, what better way to finish a walk than with a well-earned pint and some good food back at The Boathouse?🍻🍽️

So grab your boots, round up the family (and the dog! 🐾) and make a day of it.
