What can we say, its everything you love about your traditional country pub; a warm welcome from husband and wife team Roni and Alan, open fires, great beer, very drinkable wine, a wonderful atmosphere of good chatter and laughter and home cooked, great value pub grub. We're dog friendly, so long as they're accompanied by well behaved owners.

Flippin Eck its pancake Day again already! Now one day just doesn't seem enough does it? So, with that in mind, we're going to have a Pancake Party Week! Starting to tomorrow and running through until Sunday, you can enjoy the following lip smackingly delicious savoury and sweet pancakes

Thank you one and all for a great night last night. You do love a good old knees up and boy can some of you sing! Sion...our very own Tom Jones, I doff my cap! Alan had a splendid birthday and, although right now he's nursing an exquisitely delicious hangover, I can say with confidence that you made his birthday very special. Now.... that perfect hangover cure is almost definitely our Churton Sunday Roast! Its better than your mums, probably better than your nans (or Nain for our welsh patrons) ... its just £9.95 and there are no dishes to worry about and that makes it feel practically free!
