United Utilities have now repaired the burst watermain. The park water supply is now back on.

Please be aware that united utilities are dealing with a burst water main near to the park and the mains water is off.
The repair is underway,
We have very limited water resources on the park at this time and we ask everyone to be aware of the quantity of water they are using.

Another fantastic weekend here at the park, We welcomed a local group 'The Red Dragons' to our park for their rally, we had a wonderful rainbow which landed inside the park, it just goes to show our park is a pot of gold 😀
This coming weekend is a bank holiday, our park is fully booked for EHU, and non electric grass is very limited.

Another amazing review from one of our lovely campers.
Excellent place for a peaceful 3 or 4 night stay. Public transport into Chester for the day. Local village a 30 minute walk along a public footpath away from the roads. Supplies from the local store cafe and farm shop on site. Couldn't ask for more.plus friendly staff to welcome you.

Today at long last we have our new pedestrian gate installed 😀This has been on the cards for a few months, but the engineers have been incredibly busy. Huge thanks to P Proudlove & son LTD for all their work.

2 miles from our caravan park, walk via the public footpath across the fields about 20 to 40 minutes, or drive takes about 5 minutes.

Tranquil, peaceful and totally relaxing. Just some of the words that perfectly sum up our stay on this Campsite in Cheshire.

From arriving and meeting the Campsite manager through to our departure a few days later, we only have good words to say about this campsite, its facilities and location. We stayed during a heat wave and with temperatures hitting 36° during the day and 25 at night, we decided to sleep with all the Van doors opened and at no point did we feel unsafe or intruded upon by other visitors, in fact it was a fabulous experience being able to lie in bed looking out the back doors of our van and watching meteor showers, satellites and even experiencing the near total eclipse.

Having visited many campsites around the UK on our Van life adventures we can genuinely say this is one of the best places we have visited in a long time and highly recommend you try and experience it for yourself. Also, don’t forget to try the farm shop and café next door, which serves a wonderful full English breakfast too.

We are continually working to improve our park for our guests, and recently we had contractors in to add stone to some pitches, this has raised the height for improved drainage for when the rain finally arrives 🙂
Thanks to local contractor A & D Carnelley LTD for carrying out the works.

Due to the current dry weather & ground conditions we have taken the difficult decision to ban all charcoal BBQ’s and fire pits. You may still use a gas BBQ as long as they are well off the ground and used with extreme care.
