It has recently won the Beautiful South's "Camping & Caravanning Park of the Year" Stubcroft Farm Campsite is a secluded, environmentally friendly site on a working sheep farm, close to some of the South Coast's best sandy beaches and dunes. It is a family owned campsite suitable for couples, families and responsible groups. The peaceful private lanes and grounds surrounding the farm makes it an ideal holiday for families and couples wishing to escape the pressures of modern city life.

At Stubcroft Farm Campsite we support various charities both within the UK and abroad. In a world that is increasingly beset by the effects of war, conflict and the effects of climate change & natural disasters more & more people need help at a time where governments are cutting back on aid programs and donations to charities are falling as a result of the economic effects of these actions. We choose charities that have life changing effects on the people they help such as Sightsavers or charities that support the victims of conflict & disasters and those tackling the causes. Each year we donate a proportion of our profits to charity and combine this with donations from our customers from our charity boxes in reception. In 2026 so far we have donated £11,750 to nine charities as follows:

Sightsavers – £2250 Unicef – £1500 Save the Children – £1500 Medecins Sans Frontieres – £1500 Red Cross – £2000 Mercy Ships – £1000 WaterAid – £1000 NSPCC – £500 Barnados – £500

We have a great range of food & drink options for the whole family available at Stubcroft Farm Campsite! Imagine waking up to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and fresh baked Croissants & Danish Pastries? Our “Shepherds Hut” Café & Bar will get you going in the morning with a wide range of your favourite barista coffees, teas, hot beverages & milkshakes, tempting pastries, snacks & cakes. Friday night is Pizza night with freshly made, stone-baked pizzas available to keep the family happy and save you having to cook. From simple Margarita’s garnished with fresh basil to the ever popular Peperoni and for the more adventurous we do a Campagna or a fiery Picante. If you prefer a meat free option we have our Mediterranean Vegetable and all pizzas can be customised with a varied range of extra toppings. With the school holidays starting, we are featuring some great family days out near Stubcroft Farm Campsite if you want a change from our lovely local sandy beaches. This is HMS Warrior, one of the most powerful ships of the Victorian navy. Warrior is based at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard which together with HMS Victory the The Mary Rose and other historic ships & submarines covers over 500 years of naval history. Learn about the sailors that crewed them and the dockyard workers that built and maintained them. Take a boat trip around the harbour and see the heart of the British Navy including our modern day ships & aircraft carriers. The nearby Gunwharf Quays is one of the most picturesque shopping centres featuring the Spinnaker Tower with its stunning 360 degree views of the harbour & dockyard and a great choice of places to eat. COME AND WATCH TONIGHT’S WORLD CUP SEMI-FINAL AT STUBCROFT FARM CAMPSITE! This was the moment Stubcroft guests celebrated Jude Bellingham’s extra time goal on Saturday when England won a nail-biting Quarter Final match against Norway to qualify for the semi-finals! The match was yet another tense battle where the England team once again showed grit & determination to equalise after falling behind, taking the game into extra time. Join us tonight to watch England’s semi-final match against Argentina. To keep our guests happy, our new Shepherd’s Hut Café & Bar will again be open serving guests’ refreshments and food throughout the match including a selection of wines, Pimm’s & cocktails, local Hepworth Brewery beers & lagers, plus a range of snacks!

MAY BANK HOLIDAY SAUNA AT STUBCROFT CAMPSITE! Chill out, relax and recover your hygge over the Late May Bank Holiday weekend and book a session our local wood-fired mobile Finnish Sauna complete with cold dip plunge pools. Run by Sauna Spirit, the sauna will be available to book on Saturday 23rd May between 4-8pm. It is completely eco-friendly in keeping with our sustainable ethos, being built in a re-purposed horse box using sustainable timber and a wood fired sauna stove. Don’t forget to bring a costume, a towel and plunge pools are available to cool down between sauna rounds. Book your communal seat or private hire at www.saunaspirit.co.uk to avoid disappointment or pay on the sauna door on the day by card or cash. Seats cost £8 per 30-minute session or £15 for 1 hour. Changing tents, towels, refreshments and seating provided. Private session of 30 minutes or an hour available from £40 and £75 respectively.

As the new season commences, we would like to remind customers that as the campsite is now licensed, we will be stocking a wide range of locally brewed beers & lagers as well as cider, wines, cocktails & other drinks. These will be available to purchase from the shop throughout the year during opening hours and from the Shepherds Hut Café & Bar when it is open.
