Great booking this weekend, super people, Moonrakers and South Trec Club, who hired the field for their Level 1 Competition. We had 6 camping with horses overnight travelling from various parts of the country meaning they were fresh to compete on Sunday morning.

Well, what a super weekend. First week on Pitch-Up and a steady flow of campers, all super people, all sorts - families, couples, single campers, dogs, children - from Scotland, Oxford and Bristol to name but a few. Our first review too: Excellent simple site with friendly owners. 27/08/2023

Recommend to friends Visit again
Liked: Simple pitch in a paddock with horses.
No frills promised, access to water and bbq facilities.
The owners were really good at communicating and arranging to meet on entry to explain facilities, and recommend local pubs (The Greyhound was excellent) and local sightseeing.
Enjoyed the simplicity and almost "wild camping" atmosphere with safety of being in a designated camping area.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike as I wanted this simplicity and safety.
