Wayside offers longer term accommodation as well as short term holiday accommodation. We currently have a bedsit and a three bedroomed lodge available. All our rates include all bills.

ON LINE PRESS RELEASE FROM WAYSIDE LODGES AND B&B

WAYSIDE OF WILTSHIRE IS RENOVATED AND REOPENS FOR STAYCATIONS and BUSINESS!

Wayside Lodges and B&B at Chittoe Heath, Bromham, Wiltshire have undergone a major renovation involving extensive modernisation and refurbishment.

The renovated accommodation is now open for business post Covid.

Lesley and Jonathon Seed have taken the opportunity of the enforced break from business to decorate and refurbish bedrooms, upgrade lodge kitchens, improve facilities (with washing machines in the six berth lodges).

In B&B our family room has been gutted, decorated, new furnishings added and a new modern bathroom installed. In addition the family room balcony has been decorated and re-floored.

Our downstairs B&B rooms have been adapted to form a flexible semi self catering unit for guests who prefer this option. Downstairs bedrooms have also been re-decorated and refurbished. All B&B rooms have been fitted with fridge freezers and microwave ovens which are particularly aimed at business guests. Wi-fi has been upgraded and is free and has good broadband available in all rooms and lodges.

Outside the grounds, gardens and woodland have been planted with lovely bulbs and flowers and access to our twelve acres of private woodland has been improved.

Lesley and Jonathon said “The Covid break and funding opportunities have enabled us to give our accommodation business an overdue renovation and upgrade. We are delighted to be able to welcome guests to an greatly improved Wayside experience.”

JOB VACANCY

Wayside Lodges, Bromham, are looking for a lodge and B&B cleaner. Hard working, thorough, trustworthy and reliable person required. Regular work with some (largely seasonal) weekend work required. Additional skills would include willingness to cook occasional breakfast (training provided).

We are also looking for an equestrian maintenance person who could help with horse care (riding not required) with regular paddock and yard maintenance.

The two posts could be (and have been) combined for more work hours.

We have had a cancellation for Christmas so now have a lodge available. We are open over Christmas. All lodges are deep cleaned and fogged with disinfectant in advance of guests arrival. Our Lodges are warm and cosy and we provide a Christmas tree with lights etc to make them feel seasonal.
