Have you been waiting for this moment as much as we have? We are absolutely thrilled to announce: The Merrymouth Inn is reopening its doors‼️

Thanks to the incredible trust shown to us by Andrew and Wendy, we have the absolute pleasure and privilege of running this wonderful pub and restaurant. We promise to pour our hearts into everything we do here!♥️

Our official Grand Reopening will take place on September 18th, with doors opening at 12:00 PM! We warmly invite everyone our regulars, neighbors, and new faces alike – to come and join us from lunchtime through to the evening.

What can you look forward to in this exciting new chapter?

We warmly welcome our new business partners Agnieszka & Kamil from Milton-under-Wychwood who will be running the food and drink business with our full support.

Here is our itinerary for the next two months.
- We have just welcomed the GB Porsche Club - more to come!
- Top quality live music
- Pub & Restaurant 'Grand Re-opening - 18th September'

Well it has been a busy summer at The Merrymouth Inn. Fixing rooves, plumbing, putting in a new potwash in the commercial kitchen, replacing the gas tanks, replacing part of the water pipeline and still found some time to enjoy the surrounding area with the dog!!!

She was very happy about that 😁

Still plenty to do, signage and dry stone walls next...

News From The Merrymouth Inn.

After 18 months of temporary closure improving our offering, cutting costs, making efficiencies and growing our Accommodation and Events businesses to provide a buffer we are now able to re-open our Pub and Carvery.

We plan to bring them back online in September with a wonderful new Pub & Restaurant management team who we will be supporting fully to build this back up with some exciting initiatives - more details will be made available shortly

In the meantime The Cotswold Blues Club with top quality live Blues, Rock & Roll and RnB kicks off in September.

The Cadillac Kings – Thursday 17th September 2026 - Entry is £14.50 online/advanced or £17 on the night although ticket availability on the night is highly unlikely.
