Kingham Cottages is a collection of five self-catering holiday cottages located within the beautiful grounds of Kingham Lodge in the heart of the Cotswolds. The owners of Kingham Lodge, Christopher and Delphie Stockwell, have lived in the Cotswold village of Kingham (voted England’s favourite village), for over 30 years and it is their aim to provide a traditional Cotswold cottage holiday with a u

nique touch. Chris and Delphie also host a biannual sculpture show as part of Oxfordshire Artweeks and have raised more than £200,000 for charity since 2012. Some of the photos and video on this page are from previous sculpture exhibitions.

We are so PROUD TO support (CATS) bring art, music, drama, dance and cultural opportunities back into local state primary schools across the Cotswolds.

Since launching in 2023, CATS has:
✨ Reached 60+ schools
✨ Worked with over 10,000 children
✨ Delivered artist-led workshops, music projects, drama, opera, dance and oracy programmes
✨ Helped schools access instruments, materials (restocked art cupboards), performances, coach travel and creative experiences they otherwise could not afford

We believe creativity matters - not just for education, but for confidence, wellbeing, communication and joy. 🌿

At a time when arts provision in schools continues to decline, CATS is working to help create arts-rich learning environments for children across our region.

The Loft | Sleeps 4–6 ✨

Sitting above the pool house at Kingham Lodge, The Loft is a beautifully light and airy apartment with a real sense of space and calm. Accessed via an external stone staircase, it opens into a stunning open-plan living area filled with natural light all year round.

With limed oak floors, rustic beams, a central glass cupola and characterful arts and crafts furniture, The Loft feels both elegant and relaxed - somewhere to truly unwind.

A double bedroom with king-size brass bed and TV

A generous twin room with en-suite bathroom (walk-in shower and double-ended bath)

Twin beds can be zip-linked to a super-king, and additional single beds can be added to sleep up to six (on request)

The open-plan living area includes a large antique oak dining table, comfy sofas around the TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. Glass doors open onto a Juliet balcony with views into the tree canopy, while the glazed cupola above the dining area frames the sky and floods the space with light.

Our indoor heated pool (11m x 5m, average depth 1.35m) is perfect for both family fun and peaceful relaxation.

To make sure everyone enjoys their time, we offer private daily swim times for each cottage - details are shared in your booking confirmation. There’s also an early morning swim open to all guests.
