Another excellent day out…only 10 minutes from the Lodges 🙌🏻

Bowland Country Park has something for everyone. At only £6.50 a car, it is definitely amazing value for money 🤩

The park kept the children entertained with slides, ziplines, mud kitchens and much more. Then we walked around seeing a variety of animals from alpacas to deer and wild boar.

It’s great to see the growing along route. The kids even spotted the pumpkins making their appearance 🎃

allows you to watch the kids play and have 5 minutes peace with your favourite coffee. was even available for the hotter days we’ve been having.

Overall, an excellent day out for all the family 🙌🏻

Perfect spot for any family visiting

Today we headed to Dunsop Bridge for a walk and play on the newly refurbished playground.

Our first stop was for some snacks. Malteaser Rocky Road 😍

Then we headed to the playground to burn some energy off!

Dunsop Bridge is also a perfect little spot to take a picnic and enjoy some splash time in the river too 💦

Today we have hosted the Sheep Discussion Group Summer Roadshow.

We heard from Julie from and on some differences of the Live and Direct Markets and how to ensure animals are presented correctly.

Debbie Brown from informed us on giving our lambs the correct nutrition throughout the season to make the best impact on growth rates.

gave us some sheep bolusing demonstrations on how to bolus correctly and when to give the correct bolus throughout the season. Even got to see our in action!

Then after lunch we went up the field to talk all things soil with James from AgScope and managing the grass for maximum lamb growth.
