I booked 4 nights, 5 days away for my husband, dog & I, & we wished we booked longer! Lakemoor is perfect, a beautiful retreat, quiet nights & clear sky! A stunning place, set at the back of the main house, you would never know it’s there I rang the bell at the gate on arrival & was greeted by a smiling Justin As we drove through to park up, we passed their small holding on one side & the other, the hot showers, sinks, an honesty shop & 6 bays for camper vans At the back of the parking, set in very tall trees is gate, this leads to the lake with 3 unique cosy cabins set around it to the right To the left is the Lotus tent & behind there, is the entrance to the camping field for family tents Beyond the field is the river Day1 travelling didn’t go to plan Day2 & 3 we went sight seeing with our pup Day4 stayed on sight, met the animals & had the place to ourselves, we played in the river, saw a solar eclipse, eat our dinner under the stars & watched a meteor shower Day5 very sad to leave
