Beautiful Shrewsbury - my view of Church Street and St Alkmund’s. On the right is the Prince Rupert Hotel, named after the Royalist commander who stayed here during the Civil War. Prince Rupert of the Rhine was a nephew of Charles I, and he became extremely unpopular when his army looted the town and countryside.

As the sun rises, so it must set.

We’ve had a wonderful year of welcoming the most delightful guests to our peaceful little place and we’ve made several good friends in the process.
But now its evolution continues, from being my dear Dad’s home, at the end of the year it will become the home of Paddy’s lovely Mum!

We are ceasing lets after November so if you have a burning desire to stay here you’d better get in touch (there is some availability in November)!

We’re thinking of it as a “so long” rather than a “goodbye” 👋🏻 Thanks to everyone for your support; your shares and your likes are greatly appreciated - we’ve barely had to advertise thanks to you guys!!! 👏 👏👏
