Some people who stay at Acton Scott Escapes stay on site to relax in the woodland, others like to go out exploring the local towns and villages, the thing they have in common is that they are all nature lovers.
A beautiful place to explore is Ludlow, just a half hour drive from us. After a day of fine food and riverside walks come on back to base and relax in the hot tub

Shropshire has many dog friendly cafes, pubs and attractions- these are listed in our welcome book or just ask your host for recommendations

We’ve had a couple of crafty girls with a fantastic eye for colour making these beautiful pieces on the peg loom. They can be used as a small table runner, a wall hanging or can be sewn up to make a purse.
Crafting in the woodland is always relaxing!
