The Old Bear will be changing hands in July 2018 and Anne Marie will no longer be offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Please watch this space in case the new owners decide to open a Bed and Breakfast of their own!

Thanks to everyone who has stayed at the Old Bear over the last decade. Every guest has been a pleasure, every review has been kind, we have met some very interesting people and made some firm friends.

Come on down to stay at the Bear Inn this Spring. It is a lovely sunny day and we already have some tree-flowers to join the snowdrops and other bulbs! Big rooms, lovely garden, huge breakfast, wonderful Cotswold setting!

Best bonfire night around at the Crown in Frampton Mansell this Fireday night!!

In 2008 a piano, rumored to be Kate Bush's, was dumped out the back of the pub in preparation for the Crown Inns second Bonfire event. Myself and Steve, a local you may well know, and possibly love, thought let's have some fun with it......

Cheltenham Mummers Boxing Day tour will start at Andoversford Club at 11.15 am. Then on to The Colesbourne Inn GL53 9NP for 12.15pm. The last stop is The Bathurst Arms GL7 7BZ for 2pm.

Centuries old tradition! The Mummer's play will be calling in at the Bathurst Arms, North Cerney on Boxing Day this year.
It might seem like drunken nonsense, but it is way more fun than Morris Dancers or other medieval traditions

Very good evening on Saturday for the annual Turning On Of The Christmas Lights. Surprisingly good list of celebrities have turned on the lights for such a small town - past famous glitterati include Kieth Chegwin, Melinda Messenger, Elizabeth Hurley, and this year it was Nigel Havers.
Tetbury wins though, Prince Charles and Camilla turned the lights on there last year...
