A huge thanks to our first residential volunteer of 2026!!

Hollie has been a great help with the day-to-day running of the hostel and welcoming customers over the past month.

During her free time, Hollie has been exploring the Ennerdale valley and wider area. She's had a few adventures along the way and shared with us some photos of her time here!

Did you know?

We have an honesty cafe at the hostel. Open 10am-4pm everyday.

So, if you're heading through the valley, call in for tea, coffee, cold drinks, fruit, sweets, and crisps 🙂

We have a comfortable and cosy atmosphere here, perfect for socialising or simply sitting and admiring the stunning valley view.
