Bilbo said he needed a holiday. A VERY long holiday. 🧙‍♂️
So he packed his pipe, left a note on the door of Bag End, and set off on an unexpected journey… to Cleethorpes 🌊

He'd heard the beach was hot like Mordor 🌋
Reader, it was not hot like Mordor.
The wind went through him like a Nazgûl through the Shire 🌬️😂

But then he found the Greenwich Meridian Line 🌍
One foot in the East, one foot in the West…
"One line to rule them all," he whispered 💍

He's had breakfast on the prom.
Second breakfast on the pier.
Elevenses with a 99 Flake. 🍦
Luncheon was chips – until a seagull swooped in like a Great Eagle and took the lot 🦅🍟
"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" he shouted.
The chips passed. 😭

Sam rang asking when he's coming home.
He doesn't expect he shall return. 🌅

One does not simply leave Cleethorpes. 🐝
