Located opposite Cleethorpes seafront and in close proximity to a whole host of attractions, The Kings Royal Hotel is the ideal place to explore the popular
resort of Cleethorpes. Pleasure Island (1.5 miles), Meridian Park (1.1 miles), Parkway Cinema (0.8miles), Boating Lake (0.7 miles), Bowling Alley (0.6 miles) are all within easy reach of the hotel, as well as everything else you’d expect from a seaside resort including arcade amusements, cafes and restaurants, swimming pool and leisure centre, beach, crazy golf and the iconic Cleethorpes Pier. The hotel consists of:
2 x Double Rooms with sea view - £70 per night
1 x Double Room - £60 per night
2 x Twin Rooms with sea view - £70 per night
3 x Twin Rooms - £60 per night
3 x Single Room - £50 per night
All rooms are complete with ensuite bathroom, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Full English breakfast is priced £7 per person if requested, and is available from 7-9am Monday to Friday and 8-10am on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that all rooms are located up a flight of stairs, and due to the age of building we unfortunately don’t have a lift. One of the town’s few remaining ‘traditional’ style pubs, The Kings Royal comprises of two bars, ‘Patrick’s Parlour’ and ‘Mucky Muldoon’s’. Both are furnished with a whole host of interesting and quirky artefacts including a collection of ale bottles, tables made from sewing machines and old railway lines as well as a shop window full of vintage objects from musical instruments to food and drink paraphernalia. The Kings Royal has a well-stocked bar selling a range of wines, spirits, bottles and some great deals on draught beers. Mucky Muldoon’s bar has a long standing tradition of live music, and has been the top venue for acoustic music in Cleethorpes for many years. The compact room and intimate setting make for a fantastic atmosphere; musicians and audiences alike all agree that Mucky’s is a fantastic room for live music. Every Sunday night a different band takes to the stage from 8.30pm for one of the best gigs in town. A range of bands appear each week, covering a variety of styles including folk, blues, traditional Irish music, acoustic pop and rock. Any bands interested in playing should leave a flyer/business card with bar staff at the pub. Mucky’s also have two resident gigs occurring on alternate Thursday nights from 8.30pm, Gentle Jazz and The Seafront Session…
Gentle Jazz have been appearing at Mucky Muldoon’s for many years, impressing audiences with their laid back, easy listening Jazz. Comprising of a group of extremely talented musicians, the band often invite guest instrumentalists and vocalists to perform with them. Seafront Session is a fortnightly gig organised by Cleethorpes singer/songwriter Rob Bywater, and features different acts each fortnight. A range of styles are covered, original music and cover versions and over the years since the sessions began in 2006, over 100 different artists have taken to the stage. Rob is always looking for new talent to perform at the Seafront Session, so anyone interested in playing can contact [email protected] with a subject of ‘Mucky's’ with details of your act and to enquire about available dates. Function Room
When we’re not hosting live music, Mucky Muldoon’s bar can be hired out for functions and parties. The room holds up to 80-100 people and is a fantastic alternative to some of the larger function rooms in town. Prices and other information is listed below…

We do not provide in-house catering, however we can accommodate for buffet food from outside catering companies or self-catered parties. We can provide tables and table cloths for buffet food but not plates and cutlery. We do not book birthday parties under the age of 22, christenings, hen parties or stag parties.
