Licensed for official ceremonies since 2009. Barn Drift, reputed the best of Norfolk, overlooking the Cley Marshes, the Glaven Valley and Blakeney Point. This unique holiday home and licensed wedding venue, was recently converted from an ancient barn into the beautiful home it is ~ now offering a stunning and exceptionally comfortable building. With 8 spacious bedrooms, each beautifully decorated

and with zip and link twin or double beds depending on guests' requirements. The huge, well equipped kitchen is flooded with natural light, as are the two sitting rooms and dining room. The house has underfloor heating throughout, controlled by resident guests from each room. Both sitting rooms have Smart TVs and plenty of board games, the house also has a manifold of books for everyone, a croquet set and even table tennis. There is a large boot room, furnished, of course with a washing machine and tumble dryer. In the conversion of the barn the 3 sheltered walled gardens, accessed from large sliding doors off the hall, kitchen, dining room and drawing room have been beautifully retained - each offering warm sun traps and stunning varied and ever-changing views over the valley, sea and bleached sand dunes of Blakeney Point.

The last of summer in the gardens at Barn Drift. September has arrived, but we’re holding onto these final days of long lunches outside, afternoons under the trees and evenings that still stretch on just a little longer.

There’s something particularly lovely about the garden at this time of year, as summer slowly gives way to autumn on the North Norfolk coast.

One last little glimpse of summer before the seasons change.

As the summer holidays come to an end, the beaches begin to empty and North Norfolk settles into a slightly slower pace.

Late summer/autumn is one of our favourite times at Barn Drift - quieter beaches, peaceful coastal walks and still plenty of time to sit outside and make the most of the last of the summer light.

With the beach just a walk away along our private farm track, it’s a pretty wonderful time to escape to the North Norfolk coast.

What a weekend at Barn Drift.Two performances, two wonderful audiences and the most extraordinary few days of opera, picnics, drinks and summer evenings in The Hangar.

From friends arriving together to strangers sharing tables and chatting over drinks, there was such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere across both days. Light-hearted, fun and exactly what we hoped these performances at Barn Drift would be.

We were also joined by some brilliant fellow Norfolk businesses, with Randysseafood serving beautiful seafood platters, Cobble Hill Vineyard & Winery Piaggio keeping glasses topped up with delicious wines and sparkling, and Dann's Ice Cream & Dann's Farm Shop ice cream keeping everyone cool in the sunshine. We love bringing together local businesses for events like these and showcasing some of the very best of Norfolk.

And then, of course, the incredible Wild Arts performers, who completely blew us away. The talent was extraordinary and we’ve been so touched by the constant stream of lovely feedback since.

A huge thank you to everyone who came, performed, helped and made the weekend what it was. We absolutely loved having you here — what a success!

Catching the last of that August warmth in our neighbouring villages of Wiveton and Blakeney last night, before the cooler weather rolls in.

Evenings like this are a pretty good reminder of just how lucky we are to call this little corner of North Norfolk home.
