⚜️ Crossing Boundaries & Building Bridges: A Fantastic Trip to Ormskirk!
What a truly memorable evening for the Lancashire Scouting Lodge of Allegiance! While our roots are firmly planted in East Lancashire, we are incredibly proud of our dual-province heritage. We recruit Scouting Masons from both East and West Lancashire, and once a year, we make it our mission to "cross the border" and visit a different Masonic Hall in the West.
This year, our travels took us to the wonderful Ormskirk Masonic Hall, and what a warm welcome we received!
Highlights of the Evening:
• A Collaborative Lecture: Our meeting featured a fascinating exploration of the First Degree Tracing Board. In the spirit of Scouting teamwork, the lecture was delivered in sections by various members of the Lodge, showcasing the diverse talent and knowledge within our ranks.
• The Festive Board: After the work was done, we were treated to an absolutely superb meal. The kitchen team really outdid themselves!
• Starter: A delicious, hearty black pudding stack.
• Main: A rich and perfectly cooked beef bourguignon.
Heartfelt Thanks
A huge thank you to West Lancashire for hosting us and allowing us to continue this wonderful tradition of provincial friendship.
A special "Bravo" to the Ormskirk Hall team—your hospitality was top-notch, and you looked after us brilliantly from start to finish. We left with full stomachs and even fuller hearts.
Are you a Mason with a background in Scouting? Whether you hail from the East or the West, there’s always a place for you at our campfire.
