What a fantastic day! ☀️🍔

Today, the Lancashire Scouting Lodge of Allegiance held our annual family BBQ, and we couldn't have asked for a better afternoon. 28 adults and 7 children from our extended Lodge family joined in the fun, which was once again generously hosted by our Worshipful Master at his outdoor activity site woodsageoutdoor

The food was absolutely top-notch, cooked to perfection by our WM Designate and current WM! 🧑‍🍳🔥

Between the delicious food and great company, we stayed thoroughly entertained. The competitive spirits came out on the electronic airsoft range for some target shooting, while the younger children (and maybe a few adults!) enjoyed badminton and some soft axe throwing. 🎯🪓

We did have one unresolved mystery, though... we still aren’t entirely sure why our DC was carrying a cuddly bunny around all afternoon, but hey—it kept him happy! 🐇😂

A massive thank you to Simon and Bev for hosting such a wonderful afternoon for us all. Everyone had a brilliant time catching up.

Now, we look forward to our next Masonic meeting, which will be our Installation this September. See you all there! 🛠️📐

Happy Father’s Day! ⚜️

On this Father’s Day, the brethren of the Lancashire Scouting Lodge of Allegiance want to take a moment to celebrate all the incredible father figures in our lives.

Masonry and Scouting both teach us the value of mentorship, guidance, and being a positive role model for the next generation. Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to:
Our Dads – who taught us our first lessons and stood by us.
Our Step-Dads – who stepped up, shared their strength, and chose to guide us.
The Significant Men in Our Lives – the grandfathers, uncles, mentors, Scouting leaders, and brothers who have offered wisdom, support, and a steady hand along the journey.

Thank you for your dedication, your wisdom, and the examples you set every day.

We hope you all have a fantastic day surrounded by family and fellowship. Enjoy your well-earned celebrations!

What a Masonic year that has been ! being installed as the Worshipful Master of the Lodge ( his first time in the big seat !), another amazing Ladies Night held at a local hotel, Fish and chips supper as our meal after a meeting ( our festive board) bought from a local chippy, a Retro night, new members joining, our annual pilgramage to West Lancs and so much more.

In our last meeting Simon Morley was desiganted our WM Elect and will be taking over the Big Seat in September. He will have to build on an amazing year but we know he has big plans already in the works.

Want to join us then get in touch.

The thing most Masons say when asked about joining is why didnt i do it sooner !

Looking for Something More Than the Usual Night Out?

If you're a man aged 21–40 living in Lancashire and looking to expand your circle, develop new skills, and be part of something with real purpose, the Lancashire Scouting Lodge of Allegiance would like to hear from you.

In a world where genuine connections can be hard to find, our Lodge brings together men from across Lancashire who share values of friendship, integrity, personal growth, and service to others.

You don't need to know anyone in the Lodge to enquire, and while a connection with Scouting is welcomed, it's not essential.

If you're ready to become part of something meaningful, make new friendships, and contribute to a thriving community of like-minded men, we'd be delighted to speak with you.

Lancashire Scouting Lodge of Allegiance has another new member ! Last week we welcomed our newest Entered Apprentice to our ranks. The small gem of a Lodge room was packed to the rafters even in the extremely sticky heat with senior members of Freemasonry from across Lancashire ( yes both East and West !) attending. The meeting went smoothly with everyone helping each other every step of the way from opening the doors to tidying up the buffet meal at the end.

With another Mason looking to move to the Lodge after a period of inactivity due to family commitments and another new member potentially in the pipeline the lodge is growing but still has room for more new members so get in touch.

⚜️ Crossing Boundaries & Building Bridges: A Fantastic Trip to Ormskirk!

What a truly memorable evening for the Lancashire Scouting Lodge of Allegiance! While our roots are firmly planted in East Lancashire, we are incredibly proud of our dual-province heritage. We recruit Scouting Masons from both East and West Lancashire, and once a year, we make it our mission to "cross the border" and visit a different Masonic Hall in the West.

This year, our travels took us to the wonderful Ormskirk Masonic Hall, and what a warm welcome we received!
Highlights of the Evening:
• A Collaborative Lecture: Our meeting featured a fascinating exploration of the First Degree Tracing Board. In the spirit of Scouting teamwork, the lecture was delivered in sections by various members of the Lodge, showcasing the diverse talent and knowledge within our ranks.
• The Festive Board: After the work was done, we were treated to an absolutely superb meal. The kitchen team really outdid themselves!
• Starter: A delicious, hearty black pudding stack.
• Main: A rich and perfectly cooked beef bourguignon.

Heartfelt Thanks
A huge thank you to West Lancashire for hosting us and allowing us to continue this wonderful tradition of provincial friendship.

A special "Bravo" to the Ormskirk Hall team—your hospitality was top-notch, and you looked after us brilliantly from start to finish. We left with full stomachs and even fuller hearts.

Are you a Mason with a background in Scouting? Whether you hail from the East or the West, there’s always a place for you at our campfire.
