Is it a good idea to camp in a HEATWAVE? Does the tent get too hot… ?

Here at Fire & Stars it’s a GREAT idea and no it doesn’t as each pitch is in and amongst the trees keeping tents and sleeping areas shaded & cool!!!

Ready for another beaut of a weekend looks like we’re in for a great summer so have you secured your pitch yet…. 🏕️ as we also don’t pile you all together in the middle of a field so spaces are limited!

We’re in search of a friendly, reliable and hands-on Campsite & Sauna Host who loves the great outdoors and meeting new people.

As a Campsite Host, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the site. You’ll be welcoming campers, supporting sauna sessions, helping with our small shop, and assisting with food and drink service including morning coffee and evening pizza.

No two days are exactly the same, but the focus is always the same — creating a calm, welcoming and well-run environment for guests.

🕒 Working Hours

This role is built around our busiest times on site.
Shifts are currently focused around Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

🌿 What We’re Looking For

Friendly and confident with people
Reliable and able to take ownership of a shift
Practical and comfortable with outdoor work and cleaning
Calm and organised during busy periods
Someone who notices the small details that make a big difference

🔥🍕 Something delicious is coming to the campsite this season…

Starting this Bank Holiday, we’ll be firing up our brand-new wood fired pizza van right here in the heart of the campsite 🏕️✨

The Hidden Gem will be serving up freshly made, delicious pizzas in a relaxed, outdoor setting, the perfect addition to your camping trip. (& that’s tea sorted for one of your nights!)

& stay tuned as we may add further pizza van weekends, if it’s something you’d feel you’d use whilst staying on site? Let us know…
