Long before it was a hotel, Woodlands Park was one of the grandest houses in Surrey, designed in 1885 with a free hand and no expense spared, and one of the first country homes with electric light. Its oak-panelled Grand Hall once hosted Edwardian house parties, with the future King Edward VII among the regular guests. That same hall still sits at the heart of the house today.

There's history in every corner of Woodlands Park, from the oak-panelled Grand Hall built in 1885 to the grounds that once stretched down to the River Mole.

Designed with a free hand and no expense spared, the house was one of the first in the country to have electric light, and once welcomed royalty among its Edwardian house parties.

That same character remains today, in the architecture, the interiors and the 10 acres surrounding it.
