Our cottage is perfect for a small family with 1 or 2 kids, or a couple, offers a sunny back garden for breakfast or dinner, space to store bikes or paddleboards/kayaks, and is only a stone's throw (well, a short walk, ride or drive) away from Cockermouth, Loweswater, Crummock Water and Buttermere, Whinlatter and other passes, Ennerdale Water, the Solway coast and the beautiful cliffs around St Bees. Sorry no pets.
Rates from £90 per night for 2 people, with an additional £10pn for each additional guest.

We have late half term availability in May from Monday 25th May til Sun 31st. Also plenty of June and July availability. Minimum 2 nights. Lovely cottage, perfect for 2 or good for a family with two kids. Walks straight from the door step, great cycling and close to Buttermere, Loweswater, Whinlatter etc. Come and enjoy the quieter side of the Lakes.

Lambs, lambs everywhere. 😀🐑
Come and enjoy some sheep time, and the tranquil countryside we live in. Be it for sunrise, sheep cuddles or to hike over the hill to Loweswater and Lorton… Bookings are now open until the end of July, with plenty of availability throughout April and May for those wanting to meet the lambs before they are all grown up!!

Autumn has arrived -the weather outside varying between sharp downpours and brilliant sunshine. Come and spend some time with us in the Lake District, rain or shine. There is always a friendly fire to come back home to.

Cozy cottage near Cockermouth for 2 (+2) people, quiet and off the beaten track, yet in walking distance to two Wainwrights and two of the lakes (well, ‘waters’ really).
